Q. Are your rooms appropriate for all ages?

A. Yes! All ages are welcome, though the environment of some rooms may be upsetting to younger players. Your game master can help you decide which room is the best fit for your team, and may be able to adjust certain aspects of gameplay to make things more kid-friendly if needed. Players aged 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Q. When are you open?

A. Our most up-to-date hours, including holiday hours, can be found on our Google Listing. In addition, we are happy to open outside our usual hours by request. To schedule a special game slot, please contact us by Facebook or by email, allowing two weeks for us to make the necessary arrangements.

 

Q. How long does one game session last?

A. Players are given 45 to 55 minutes in the room, depending on character selections, but it is recommended that you set aside 90 minutes in total to allow for registration and briefing before the game, and debriefing and group photos after.

 

Q. What should I wear?

A. Comfortable clothing and shoes that are easy to move around are recommended because there will be slight physical obstacles in the games. You may also choose to dress in layers that are easily removed to ensure your comfort throughout gameplay.

 

Q. Is there somewhere to store personal belongings/valuables while I play?

A. Lockers are available for each room to store anything you do not wish to bring with you to the rooms. Your team will have the only key, and our lockers are monitored by 24 hour video surveillance.
Q. Are your rooms accessible?

A. Our rooms have varying levels of accessibility. While all of our rooms include some physical obstacles, such as climbing or crawling, your game master may be able to provide alternative accommodations in some situations. Please bring relevant medical conditions or limitations to your game master’s attention before the game begins to ensure the most enjoyable experience possible.

 

Q. What is the maximum number of players in a room?

A. Each room can accommodate up to 8 players, with some exceptions. However, we recommend that larger teams split into multiple rooms at no extra cost for improved gameplay and comfort.

A. Follow us on social media to stay up-to-date on promotions, contests, and other ways to save!

 

Q. Do I have to make a booking online or can I walk in?

A. We would advise online booking to secure your game session, especially during the weekends.

 

Q. I am a solo traveler and do not have a group. Can I still join the game?

A. Unfortunately, no. We never pair players up with strangers, and all of our rooms require teamwork to escape.

 

Q. I wish to bring my company/recommend Breakout to my company for team building/events. Will there be a corporate fee and who do I contact?

Q. I wish to have a marketing collaboration with Breakout. Who do I contact?

Q. What if I made a booking but am late for the session?

A. Please be on time for your game session to avoid the cancellation of your booking as late arrival will affect upcoming game sessions. Your punctuality is very much appreciated.

Q. I made a reservation but I will be bringing more/less people with me to play. Do I need to call to let you know?

A. It’s not necessary to change your booking as long as you still have 2 to 8 players per room booked. Your room will remain private, and payment is only collected upon arrival.
